Orlov Viktor Alekseevich
Painter.
He was born on the 29th of September in 1952 in Michurinsk, Tambov Region.
In 1980 he graduated from the All-Union State University of Cinematography, in 1987 creative dios of Academy of Artists of the USSR, his teacher was O.G. Vereiskii.
He began his creative work in 1976.
He works in genres of landscape, portrait, still life. The painter follows the traditions of Russian realistic art. The main topic of his works modern life of the province.
Member of the Union of Artists since 1984.
Participant of exhibitions: exhibition of works of young artists in the USSR, Poland, Warsaw (1982), In Finland(1984), In Berlin (1985), in Spain, republican exhibition picture and water-colour(1983), exhibition The Moscow school of arts France (1984) and others.
25 individual exhibitions in Moscow, Noginsk, Serpuhov, Kolomna, Kaluga, Berlin , Strattsburg.
Main works: Conversation, Autumn flowers, Fashionable woman, Evening in the garden and others.
His works are kept in the Kaluga State Arts Museum and some museums of other provincial towns, and also in private collections in Russia, Spain, France, Germany, Finland, Poland, Turkey, Great Britain, USA and some other countries.
The painter was awarded a medal For courage in a fire(1972)
